ABOUT EITEOG

Hello my name is Anthony, and as far as I can remember I have had a fascination with flying and aircraft, and more specifically helicopters. I learned most of my practical knowledge about aircraft flight from building and flying radio controlled model aircraft as well as learning to fly helicopters and gaining a helicopter pilots licence, PPL(H), and studying for EASA/CAAUK ATPL(H) ground exams. I have enjoyed flying and learning about helicopters that I want to complete my commerical licence and instructor rating for helicopters in the future.

I also formally studied aeronautical engineering. I have MEng and PhD degrees in Aeronautical Engineering. I have worked as Aerodynamics Engineer in the Aerospace Industry for over 10 years. My PhD thesis was published in conference and journal papers. My formal studies introduced me to mathematics which I surprisingly enjoyed and helped me greatly with my pilot ground studies and many other things.

I have created Eiteog to share content on helicopter flight theory, remote controlled helicopters and other VTOL UAVs. But also on other topics related to mathematics or aerodynamics such as sail design, boatbuilding, general carpentery or just general maths problems or even fear of maths.
